The chlorine ball valves electric actuator is a geared motor that provides rotary output to power the rotary valve.

Hydro Instruments chlorine ball valves meet Chlorine Institute Specifications (Pamphlet 6) for piping systems for dry & liquid chlorine service. These valves are available with NPT connections.

Hydro Isolation Valve Assembly is used to improve the safety of the connection from the flexible connector to the chlorine valve on the container (small cylinder/ ton container).

The flexible connector is then connected to the chlorine valve outlet port on the Isolation Valve Assembly. When containers are changed, the bottom connector of the assembly is used to make and break the seal to the container valve.

The use of a corporation stop is needed when the process water pipe cannot be drained at the diffuser to allow for maintenance and / or cleaning. With a corporation stop, the solution diffuser can be removed while the process water pipe remains full and pressurized.

A chlorine filter will remove the nuisance causing impurities in chlorine gas.

The CIS-282 Filter is made of 25,000 lb. Tensile strength grey iron castings and is rated at 560 PSI working pressure.

The CIS-282 filter should be used on any installation using one ton chlorine cylinders regardless of chlorination capacity and on any installation using an evaporator.

The Hydro Roller Trunnion base is fabricated of ASTM-A36 steel and has a 2-part epoxy finish to resist corrosion. Rollers are zinc plated and equipped with bronze bushings for easier rotation and prevention of seizure. Roller pins are zinc plated steel with alemite grease fittings for ease of lubrication. Frames are drilled to allow the use of anchor bolts or lag bolts.
